It’s exciting times for Nant and its customers with a new whisky bar about to open in Malaysia – our first outside Australia. This complements our popular bars for whisky lovers in Brisbane, Melbourne and Hobart (and soon-to-be Sydney).
Demand for our premium tipple is flourishing and motivating; Nant bottle sales are forecast to triple this year so, to keep up with our customers’ desires, we have begun work on an AUD$1.5 million expansion of the distillery and bottling operation at the beautiful Nant Estate.
Four new copper stills have been imported to Tasmania from Scotland and will soon come online. This will allow Nant to treble production and add three people to its staff of 80. We’ll let you know how it’s progressing.
Nant is still showing the world how the finest whisky is done. We recently won five Gold medals and one Silver medal at the China Wine and Spirit Awards, as well as being recognised as the Asia-Pacific Spirit of the Year.
