Pinot Noir Cask: Matured in French oak ex-pinot noir casks. A delicate balance of caramelised sugars, almond and marzipan on the nose. Spices, vanilla, honey and white fruits on the palate. Smooth, oily, medium finish.
Port Cask: Matured in French oak ex-port casks. Rich and inviting. Hints of raisins, cinnamon, liquorice on the nose. Complex dried fruits, buttery caramel and Christmas cake on the palate. Spice, oak and, hints of butterscotch with a long finish.
Sherry Cask: Matured in American oak ex-sherry casks. Rich maple, nuts and spice. Oak, dried fruits, and orange toffee on the palate. More oak, nuts, and coffee with a long finish.
Bourbon Cask: Matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks. Peppery spice balanced with light honey and vanilla on the nose. Dark fruits, malted oats, and creamy vanilla from the oak. Touches of liquorice and maple syrup with a medium to long finish.
Nant Water: Sourced from a million year old glacial lake that flows into the millpond at Nant Estate and turns the stones that grist our malted barely. It is both a source of power and key ingredient to the distillation of Nant’s award winning Single Malt Whisky.
